Might I recommend:
Age of Vice by Deepti Kapoor: An immersive page turner set in early aughts India.
You Hurt My Feelings: Nicole Holofcener at her finest.
Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard: Excellent low-stakes reality drama.
Miraval Berkshires: To anyone who says money can’t buy you happiness, spend a couple nights here and report back.
Happy Valley Season 3: Sally Wainwright is one of the best television writers ever, full stop, Sarah Lancashire has one of the best faces that has ever been on TV, and subtitles have never been more necessary for a show ostensibly in English.
Witch: A BBC podcast from the same host (“presenter”) as 28ish Days Later, another gem, and listen even if you don’t think you like witches etc etc this show touches on so many interesting ideas in history, culture, medicine and on and on. For the witch in all of us.
Supergoop sunscreen: ‘Tis the season. And don’t talk to me about mineral sunscreen, GROSS!
What are you recommending these days?
*this is an important acronym from a demented group chat of my ex-bf and his little friends that I am somehow a part of in which I am a very confused fly on the wall but “ykw” stands for you know what (which means you know what)
